Pool table moving and service. Metro and surrounding areas Level Best Billiards has the knowledge and experience to handle all your pool table moving and service needs. Everything from taking apart a pool table for a new floor to moving, recovering and replacing the old hard bumpers on your family heirloom. We can handle it and make sure you have a pleasant experience in the process.
Pool Table Moving:
We will do a FREE Inspection of your pool table. This is included in all pool table moves, setups, and disassembles.
The inspection includes the entire table. We will check the cloth, pockets, rail rubbers, hardware, slate, frame, legs, rails and blinds to make sure your getting exactly what you were told. This is very important to have done when you’re buying a table so you know what you’re getting and if its missing anything.

- When we move your pool table, we mark the slate and the frame to insure all the slate screws go back in the existing holes.
- We also bag the hardware and fold the cloth.
- Last, we wrap all the rails in pads before we load them in our van for safe transportation.
At the new location we will center the table up where you want it, put it back together with the existing cloth, and level it so it is ready to play like new. If you want, you can save money by Refelting it at the same time. It’s cheaper to do it now while we have the table apart.
Setup of pool tables:
This includes us centering the table up where it’s going, putting the table together, leveling it, and reinstalling the existing cloth so it is ready to play. If wanted, you can save money by Refelting at the same time. It’s cheaper to do it now while we have the table apart.
Taking apart pool tables:
This is a good option if you are replacing your floors or repurposing the room and don’t have the space for the table anymore. We mark the slate and the frame to insure all the slate screws go back in the existing holes. We also bag the hardware and fold the cloth. And last, we will place the table in an adjacent room or storage area in the house. When ready to reassemble your pool table, please give a 1 week notice to ensure a timely setup.
Refelting:
Sometimes a pool table refelt (recover) is needed due to the cloth being worn, old or torn. Sometimes you might want to spruce the room up and match the new decor with new cloth. Whichever it is, we can help you chose the right color for your table.
*Championship cloth with a teflon coating (which makes it stain resistant) There are 46 colors to choose from and most of which we keep in stock.
*Simonis 860/760 is the pro quality worsted cloth that you see used on televised tournaments and in pool halls. English takes better and it plays faster than standard cloth. (but also cost more) There are many colors to choose from.
*Velocity Pro cloth is also a worsted cloth it plays a lot like the Simonis with a more affordable price. We will also check and adjust the level of the entire table and re-wax the seams with bees wax. This is a important step that needs to be done.
Recushioning of the rails:
If your tables rails have lost the liveliness they once had, we can make them play like new again.
When we do new cushions we bring the rails back to the shop to complete. First, we have to strip all the old rail rubbers off. Then we remove all the old glue from the subrails. After all that's done, we have to glue the new cushions on and let them dry. Next, we cut the new cushions to match the pocket profile. Then we glue on the facings and cut them to the correct profile. This will make your table play its best.
Pool table storage:
We offer storage for your pool table. This is a great solution if your remodeling your home, refinishing your floors or maybe moving and haven’t taken possession of your new home yet. No matter what the reason, we can provide safe affordable storage for your pool table.
Any and all pricing given are all inclusive, there are no hidden fees. (We don’t charge extra for stairs, most of the competitors do.)
